CDIL328 The Conceptual Image 3CR Successful visual communication in illustration uses thoughtful, conceptually powerful and visually stunning works to illuminate text, thoughts and ideas. The coursework will highlight the ideation process and challenge students to accurately interpret text and conceptual ideas by using non-literal thinking, developing unique visual metaphors and incite being creatively inventive with their imagery. The goal of the course is to expand and enhance students’ image development skills and to create unique visual interpretations of complex concepts while generating a unique, strong and sophisticated portfolio of work.[Formerly titled Editorial Illustration]
