CDIL331 Adv. Figure: Character Design 3CR This class builds upon skills gained in the pre-requisite course, Human Figure in Illustration. The goal of the class is to enhance students’ ability to draw the figure with authority, and exercise this authority in Character Design. The class explores subjects such as clarity of gesture, distortion and exaggeration, perspective and point of view, and stylization. By the end of the course, students are expected to use the many variables of figure drawing to create characters with a strong Personal Voice.
