EDID218 Product Rendering 3 cr.

This course covers the basics of product rendering. By conducting an in-depth study of 2D product illustration and presentation styles, the objective is to develop proficiency in conveying ideas through drawing, rendering and presentation. This will include knowledge of perspective, scale, color, materials, finishes and the impact of lighting. Extensive use of Cintiq, or other digital sketch tablets, and drawing/ rendering software such as Sketchbook Pro and Photoshop will accent traditional pen to paper sketching.
