LALW233 Creative Writing Workshop: A Multigenre Workshop 3cr

This course introduces students to creative
writing-through poetry and fiction-and explores
hybrid genres and connections between word and
image. Students learn the elements of craft that
are particular to each genre and universal for
both. They write their own pieces that are
critiqued by peers and instructor. Students also
read literature as models for their own writing
and become familiar with contemporary literary
journals.
